Rio Valley Intermodal Gateway (RVIG), our Intermodal Ramp Operation, launched in 2009 through the innovation and unique partnership between Ironhorse Resources and the Union Pacific Railroad.  The Gateway is named as such because it connects the Rio Grande Valley region of South Texas (along with the Reynosa / Matamoros, TM Mexico areas) to much needed, valuable, and competitive intermodal service offerings.

The Rio Valley Intermodal Ramp is a full service intermodal terminal and dray operation that coordinates intermodal pick-up, delivery, gating, border crossing, storage, and more for intermodal shipments moving inbound and outbound from the area.
